We distribute spin brushes to some of our patients because we believe they are that good. Spin brushes help get into areas and clean areas the normal straight toothbrush can't as well.
Any soft toothbrush is good though, especially name brands that we know and trust. Oral B, Crest, Colgate, Butler, Reach, Sonic Care, etc.
For many of our patients it is matter of ease and comfort. Older patients usually need the toothbrushes with bigger handles with bigger brush-heads, children do better with the cushioned handles that are easy to grip. We usually order all of toothbrushes with a soft, compact head because it easier to reach towards the back for most of our patients. There are many brands that are just fine and do a great job. Spin brushes do twice the work and are very reasonable, and the heads can be replaced pretty cheaply (as well as just replacing the entire toothbrush)
