What is the Spanish word for pancakes?

We also call them pancakes or hot cakes, but some people call them panqueques.

In Mexico we say "hot cakes" in other countries "panqueques"

panqueques would be the right name but in Mexico we call them hot cakes same thing.

It depends. In Spain we call them TORTITAS, but I know that in some South American countries they are called PANQUEQUES.

In Spain (Europe) we say crepes or tortitas.

I've never heard "panqueques" here.
