You've not done badly?
First, without a standard for good or bad, we all make our own standards and adjust them so that we judge ourselves to be good. Even criminals plotting their next crime will judge themselves to be basically good. Our own judgments are worthless.
But far more important is this. If God exists, and you imply you agree that He might, then isn't He worth more than anything in this universe? If I told you in all honesty and sincerity that there was a $100 bill on the floor, wouldn't you at least get up off your chair and look? We look for things that we think are worth something. The fact that you aren't willing to seek God says something about what you think your Creator is worth to you.
Would God really have given you life and free will so that you could do some feel-good good deed? Couldn't He have done that easier Himself? He has given you life and free will so that if you want, you can seek Him.
The Christian idea is that God proposes to make us His sons and daughters. How can your ideas about doing some meaningless good deeds compare against that? Christianity has almost nothing to do with good deeds. They are like a byproduct of a relationship with God.

If you follow the golden rule, never break any of God's ten commandments you'll be just fine and your rewards will be here on earth as you will feel good about yourself, and most other people will look up to you as being a good person. You can ignore all the other rules that man has added to the so called only true religion . Just think, out of all the thousands of religions, were you the lucky one to be born into the only true one. Most of us think this, even the Muslims.

Aesity means self-existence. Aesity explains the metaphysical nature of God as a purely self-existent being that exists in complete actuality. God is not a being that is created by another god; neither does God create himself into existence. Rather, God has always existed as an unchanging, completely actualized being.
God has his Being of himself and to himself such that he is Absolute being and the definition of existence.
Since God’s essence is his nature and God’s existence is the same as his essence it follows that God is existence.

I am not religious at all,I just live my life.I would say I am a good person,I help people when I can and try not to hurt anybody mentally or physically. If I go to hell for that, than I would not want to worship such a god anyway.

A good life is a good life..And it doesn`t need a god.
Some of the christians on here don`t read their book.
Best be HOT or COLD. Its the ones who claim to know god and yet don`t keep his laws and word that are bound for hell.
The book doesn`t say that those who don`t believe there is a god will go to hell they are the ones your book calls cold.
So please if you must make scriptual quotes please read your book carefully first.!!!

All religions are basically the same and based on love and respect. Money and politics made them weird and confusing. Be nice and life will be nice.

Christ says we must love God with all of our strength, mind, and heart. What you are describing sounds more like a casual relationship.
