This is NOT a serious question, i would never make a generalization like this...

the point is, this kind of generalizing is completely stupid, and needs to stop, this user is constantly making similar claims...

Eaton, are you referring to satanists, or "devil worshippers"...there is a distinct difference, as many satanists are in fact atheists....i've never read lavey's book, but if i had, and decided that it was a good way to lead my life, i would also be considered satanist...

I agree with Phoenix Velvet Vixen. Obviously, the people this question is intended for don't get it.

I wish you would find more appropriate ways of pointing out ignorant questions.

my observation is that most Satanists, especially the ones I've met, are not terribly bright, do a lot of drugs (so have I) and 4 of 5 of them did not graduate high school. I am a Christian with a college degree, and am off the drugs.

Are you a Satanist, or just defending Satanists as your atheist duty requires? Because, you know, being a deluded Christian is a whole lot better than being a deluded person who worships evil...

I think thats a leading question, and unfair, since so many scientists, for example Dr. Francis Collins who was a major part of the project to map the human Genome come to the conclusion that this could not possibly have happened by chance.
Athiesm is extremely hard to swallow, and is mostly embraced by people with less education.
Heck, Darwin had a PHD in theology, and believed that evolution was guided by God. Thats part of the reason he was prosecuted so badly by the church.

edit: oh, sorry to rant, I realize after I wrote this that you were not actually making the statement. lol. But my point stands for anyone who believes Christians are uneducated.

I know Christians who have college degrees, including myself. My aunt has a master's degree in psychology and she is a counselor. Her husband (my step-uncle) has degrees in mechanical engineering; guess what he does for a living. I have a degree in history and I currently work for a law library. I'm in the process of getting ready to apply for a master's of library science degree.

Let's face it; there are tons of Christians out there who have answered God's call for them to pursue a higher education in order to make something of themselves. There are doctors, lawyers, scientists, theologians, businessmen/businesswomen, teachers, etc.

Do you think God wants people to just stay at a crappy job for the rest of their lives? The Bible makes it clear that we are to be successful in life, whether we receive a college degree, vocational training, or military training.

Those who could see your point are not the ones who needed it to be pointed out. Sadly, everyone else will not understand.

It was a valiant effort, though.

OK, I was going to give you my usual scolding of "That's not a question, that's an insult", but I see that you are asking a rhetorical question, in response to another insult disguised as a question.

It's been noted that a lot of college students about your age, think because they go to college, that they are ready to rule the world, and some don't even know what world they are in.

You’ve got it ALL WRONG. I don’t know how you could come up with a question like that when “true” Christians do the best that they possibly can do and give it their all. It’s the non-believers that don’t care about their grades. So don’t go shooting Christians down for being “unintelligent”.
