Esp. when one christian will say that abortion is justified when its about rape, the other say divorce should be allowed if due to family violence?
How does a christian justify what is right and wrong simply by interpreting the bible according to his own interpretation. Isn't the Church teaching and traditions important?
I know a good deal of Protestant friends who speak in the name of bible but I really do not understand how they could justify what is right or wrong when they to interpret the bible literally.
Does one to gouge out an eye as stated in the bible if this is to cause him to sin over adultery?

Another point is that has some Evengelical Churches becoming more and more like rock concerts and doing this in the name God? Speaking little about eternal happiness but the abundance of prosperity on this earth instead? And to give to the church generously in the name of outreach to non believers. Are the churches getting richer for own self and prestige and fame instead for God.

Some "Church Doctrines" might be good, but some clearly aren't!!!!!!!!
Like the interpretation of John 6 = cannibalism? No! Is THAT a literal translation? Why are Protestants considered 'literalists' when Roman Catholics think they have to become cannibals?
Isn't that literal, and also a work of "Church Doctrine?"
What's wrong with you?

There is a movement of Christians who are not grounded in the word that want to be like the world. I could cover each point that you have made but it would only show that you are right. I times past you could see the difference between Christian and non-Christian. Now days it hard to find folks that stand up for what the bible teaches. Your best hope is the Independent Baptist Churches and they are not what they 20 years ago.

Despite the belief of other Christians, the Bible is just a guideline not a rule book.
Because if it's a rule book that should be followed, these Christians should have sold everything they own and donate the proceed to the Church just like what the Apostles did.

Nope, this is the problem today, so many call themselves Chistians and turn Gods law around to fit thier needs, the Bible is not a cafetereia where you can take what suits you and your agenda and what don't. Gods law is Gods law, and it is up to us to abide by it, word for word, then you have some people who will read something and read the wrong thing into it, and commit horrible acts, WE MUST ASK JESUS CHRIST INTO OUR LIVES, to be a Christian, WE MUST REPENT AND TURN AWAY FROM OUR SINS, then WE MUST ASK FOR FORGIVENESS AND ASK THE HOLY SPIRIT INTO OUR LIVES, then and only then will we know what is right and what is sin, because we will be immediately convicted by the HOLY SPIRIT when we do sin.
And you brung the the eye, that is not what Jesus Chist is saying you have got to understand Jesus used lots of parabyls and references to other things in the Bible, If you don't have The HOly Spirit, you will not understand, your blinders will be on, you have to remove your spiritual blindness to understand through THE HOLY SPIRIT.

Because even they realize, in their heart of hearts, that the bible is filled with nonsense. It's not just the protestants. The catholics will not use the word "divorce" but are perfectly willing to say that a marriage conducted by a priest and filled with vows and blessings under god just didn't happen.
As far as abortion, the bible is silent on the topic. The closest it comes is to say that if a man causes another man's wife to miscarry, he owes the man some compensation for a loss of property. All the abortion rules have been made up in recent centuries and are a result of denying biblical doctrines.

Well, I'm am a Baptist, and if a women is in a violent relationship, yes I think she should leave.I don't think Jesus literally felt we should put our eye's out, but he wanted us to know how important it was. And yes unfortunately it seems sometimes some churches seem to care more about wealth than Jesus.
