What's your personal interpretation of "getting it" when it comes to life in general?

I think they mean that they have finally learned to enjoy the journey of life and not to worry about the destination.

There is a God.
There is an eternal destiny for man.
God is benevolent, and it will be well for those who put their trust in Him.
His proof of all this has been demonstrated in the Gospel - the redemptive work of Jesus Christ, His Son sent down from Heaven.

That would depend on the individual's ideals. In my case, it would be achieving religion, having a personal and harmonious relationship with God.

I think it means they have finally figured out that life is about the journey (and how you live it), not about some mystical meaning at the end.
