See your health care provider as soon as possible (dentist or gastroenterologist), for consultation. Laryngitis is inflammation of the voice box (larynx). Symptoms are an unnatural change of voice, such as hoarseness, or even loss of voice that develops within hours to a day or so. The throat may tickle or feel raw, and a person may have a constant urge to clear the throat. I hope this helps you. And good luck.

Try gargling with warm salty water. Sounds like you have strep throat, very cureable, but you have to see a doc. I always keep a bottle of chloriseptic throat spray for the winter, just in case my throat starts feeling achey. I hope I helped.

It's possibly that you had an allergic reaction to someting you've eaten a few days ago. I would go to the ER not the doctors. Your throat could close up causing you not to breath.

defently go and if u cannot breath or it becomes difficult call emergency services or get to a hospital. it sounds like tonsellitus, it causes painful swellin of the tonsels and often white spots and muscus in the mouth, if its bacterial they wil give u antibiotics for it, make sure u finish the dose even if u feel well....sounds like u let it get a bit too horrible, next time take urself to the docs sooner...good luck

you could be allergic to something but from how to cure it i would say to have hot drinks or take some paracetamols or something like that but since you cant swallow at this moment in time i would stick to what you are doing and go to the doctors

antihistimine should help to bring the swelling down a bit.
warm water might also help. you need to keep fluids going in you....
if you can't even swallow saliva, you should go to the er....
