Why do i recieve a violation everytime i ask about Mohammeds child bride? I just want to know if its true?

Last time i asked some muslim said it was zionist propoganda to slander Mohammed

Ok I am a Muslim. Prophet Mohammed indeed married her when she was 9 years old. Ayesha was the daughter of Abu bakr prophet's friend. There were no political and spiritual reasons behind this marriage.

As much as I like wolf muslim, I think she has a way of being ignorant. The fact that authenticated Hadith depict blatently the age ages of Aisha, I cant understand how she can come up with 13, and with no source?

We are talking about 1400 years ago, not 5 years ago.There was nothing wrong with getting married to a 9 yr old.My mother was 16 when she got married and my father was 30 and we are talking about 40 years ago, the way things are going in a 100 years time my father will be considered a paedo. My mother jokes to my sister I was more mature and had more responsibilities than you when I was 8 years old and my sister is 22.It was quite normal for men to get married to young women in them days, it was the norm, check your history.Nowadays the average women gets married in her 30's in them days it was frowned upon to get married that late, with time situations change and what was acceptable then maybe isn't now. There is absolutely nothing bad in asking this question.

Yes, it's true. I'm not a Muslim (which explains why I don't have a stick up my butt about this subject) but I've studied the religion at length and frankly, all of it makes me sick. Aisha was 6 when Muhammad, then in his 50's, married her. He waited until she was 9 to take her into his house and into his bed. Some Muslims insist that he did not sleep with her until she was older, but that would go completely against his character and the traditions at the time, plus the Q'uran strongly suggests that he did take her to bed, and he was a warmonger anyway so what's to keep him from raping a child? He'll slaughter hundreds of innocent people but rape is somehow beneath him? lol. Anyone who marries a child does it for a reason, and it's never any good for the child.

wolfmuslim routinely ignores the truth in order not to disturb her beliefs -- and to paint a far prettier picture of Islam and the "prophet" than reality paints. The hadiths in question are not considered weak at all; they are authentic. Furthermore, I would love to see where she gets her "facts" about Mary's age...

"Do as I say, not as I do." Only God understands the higher spiritual purpose behind Muhammad boinking a 9 year old. As devout Christians and Muslims, we should not be questioning this.

edit: It's strange that hasanmuizudin would claim to be a Muslims and say the story isn't true. Because in the Sahih al-Bukhari is says:

Aisha was not 9 when she married the prophet(PBUH*). She was around 13 years old. In Islam girls are adults when they get their first period because their body is able to bear children and give birth. The weak Hadiths that state lies about the marriage of Aisha are from liars who hated the Prophet(PBUH*) and can't be relied upon or trusted. Mary the mother of Jesus(PBUH*) was 12 when she gave birth to Jesus(PBUH*) and probably 11 when she was married to Joseph. I don't see people complaining about that.
