Although I'm sure there are Christians out there who only come to church to socialize, there are some of us out here who are Christians because we believe in God. I have attended Church on some occasions, and find it to be a big social event more than anything, especially in Miami where it's all about who wore what and what car they drove up in, or whose husband is cheating on who and so on, more like ladies clubs than places of worship, and the schools they're invariably attached to are no better. I am a Christian because I believe in God, and in Jesus.I don't need to find a reason to be with my family on Sundays, it's a given. God is everywhere.

I am a Christian because Jesus is the best part of me. I am A Christian because when you truly meet Jesus, you change for the best from the inside out and there is no way that you would ever want to go back to who you were without Him because He only becomes more real, more special to you, as His child. As the great black gospel song says, "Nobody can do me like Jesus." He is more than enough.

I'm a Christian because I know Jesus. And you don't have to be a Christian to be loved on by the church after a house fire or any tragedy. The church loves everyone, always, unconditionally.
Christy: If you never met Jesus, how could you have been a Christian? A Christian is someone who follows him. You can't follow him unless you know him. Maybe you were trying to follow his example, which is great but ultimately useless unless you have that one-on-one connection. I can't show him to you but he can show himself to you. Just ask him with an honest heart. Then wait and see what HE does. You don't have to do anything except be open.
God bless. :)

I believe because there is a trust inside me for the things I was taught. It used to be because of dogma but that is not real faith.
Faith is believing even when there is no proof. No physical evidence.
Faith and mind don't mix well.

I believe the dogma, because I've studied my faith. I was raised Catholic, but did not always believe; I wasn't taught well. I came back to church out of physical need, and began to study my faith of my own accord, along with other religions. Concluded I am and always was where I was supposed to be.
People come to church out of need; it is study and relationship with God, contemplating His existence that keeps us there and changes us to be better people.

None of the above...
I'm a Christian because the living God touched my heart and changed my life, as He has done for millions over thousands of years.
God is real... hope you meet Him someday.
