Someone PLEASE help me. I have never had a bigger zit in my entire life...this zit literally takes up my entire nose and is EXTREMELY painful without even touching it. I just need advice on how to get rid of it or at least make it a lot smaller...hopefully by tomorrow. This is so embarassing I refuse to even leave the house and be seen like this :(

Sorry to say but it won't be gone by tomorrow, no matter what. But, it can be significantly smaller. First, stop touching it and poking at it, the oils from your hands make it worse. Dip a clean washcloth or cotton balls in warm/hot water. Keep the warm compress on for at least 1/2 hour. redipping it when it cools off. The warm water should bring the zit to a head (the white spot in the middle). If there is a head, use two Qtips immediately after using the compress, and gently squeeze the zit between them until it pops. Continue to gently pinch it until all of the white puss it out. This should alleviate the pain. Then clean the spot, and wrap an ice cube in a towel, use that as a cold compress to reduce swelling and redness. You may want to consider putting an acne cream on the spot overnight.
As i said it won't be gone by tomorrow, but it could be better.

Here are 8 steps to get rid of a pimple instantly: 1. Wet a cotton ball or ball of toilet paper with warm or hot water. 2. Press on to area, every 15 seconds increase the intensity of you pushing the pimple down. 3. When the cotton ball/ball of toilet paper is minorly damp, get another one and repeat step 1. 4. Repeat step 2-3 until you have been doing it for 10-20 minutes. Then proceed to step 5. 5. Stop applying hot water. Go to the mirror and effectively pop the pimple or simulate popping the pimple in a way so that you are not pushing down, but up so that the infection doesn't spread further. You can do this step even if there is no white in your pimple. 6. Because your zit is so waterlogged you'll probably see a small layer of the zits skin that is detached from the rest of it. Peel this off carefully, and don't do any more than that!! If you don't see the piece of skin you've done step 2 wrong. 7. Hurry up and apply Benzaclin,Clearsal or any combination of Clindamycin and Benzoyl Peroxide to the area. Do this gently barely touching your skin. Rub it in for a while. 8. Let dry for 5 minutes and you'll feel your skin tighten; don't worry. Go to the mirror, you zit should be gone! It probably only took 25 minutes too! Here's what happened; the benzoyl peroxide dried the pus inside the pimple and flushed the redness out and the clindamycin prevented the infection of the pimple going deeper into your skin (a risk of popping the pimple).

If it is a white head. what I do is take a pin and heat it up on the stove a little just the tip of the pin for about 5 seconds. to sterilize it. dip it in alcohol, and then lightly poke the outer layer of the skin surrounding the pimple. then I gently squeez the goo out. after that put a towel dipped in warm water over the area. rub it down with a ice cube if there is any pain. put some alovera on it and call it a day. believe it or not it doesnt hurt

Take a hot compress (wet, and heat in micro) and apply and repeat a lot - you can gently try to push your nose upward and hope it opens to ease the pain/pressure of the bacteria inside. Do not push hard, and do not push if nothing seeps out.
The other idea (I do not normally say do this) is to take a sewing needle sterilize it and after you use the compress try to place it in the center and gently try to get some 'puss' out.

Clean it off with peroxide and use some acne cream -
you can also do an acne face mask on it to help -

(No toothpaste or squeezing) -

Hi,
I am a dermatologist by profession and within a careeer of 10 years I have seen lots of acne problems. According to me Red and white pimples are the worst and painful. Acneprone skin is very sensitive, even if you touch it once the redness will increase with itching. According to me there is no magical way to heal your pimples over night as this is the puffed part of your skin due to the bacteria.

In simple words try to improve your diet and have lots of water that helps in healingg process. Un-necessary oily food should be avoided to get a healthy spotless skin.

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.
