I am guessing from your question that you had a blood test and the doc found antibodies that are present when a person has connective tissue disease. Connective tissue diseases include systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, scleroderma, polymyositis, and dermatomyositis.

Some other possibilities are the syndromes Marfan and Ehlers-Danlos, connective tissue diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, scleroderma, polymyositis and dermamyositis, and mixed connective tissue disease such as Raynaud's disease and phenomenon and Peripheral Arterial disease. There is also undifferentiated connective tissue disease. But one shouldn't jump to conclusions or expect the worst. Additional testing will need to be done.

Sclerderma, polymyosistis, dermyosistis, crest syndrome, and arithtis. It is considered an autoimmune disease. I have mixed connective tissue disease. It can be a very scary disease until you find answers.

Everyone has connective tissue. It holds our muscles and bones together. Are you sure you have this right?
