If people don't see the truth, and you've done your best to help them see, then they obviously will not see it. The best thing to do is continue on with the truth, never give it up for anything, and hope that one day they understand, with your best wishes and true kindness from the bottom of your heart.

To a certain extent, it depends on the kind of truth you are telling. The Prophets were often telling truths that threatened the ruling party at the time. This is never going to be greeted with great joy, but most of them stuck to their guns, some to the death. On the other hand, Galileo was threatened by the Catholic Church when he stated the earth was not the center of the universe. He recanted publicly to save his skin, but continued to believe it privately. Nowadays, a lot of scientists are telling truths no one wants to hear about climate change. They're sticking to the truth, but making very little headway. And the modern media is much more efficient at battling truth today, so they'll probably lose their battle. Personally, I haven't had any life-changing truth issues, but if I said something that was true and not another soul in the universe believed me, I'd simply go on as before, knowing I was right.

What you know about yourself is more important than what others think of you. Sooner or later the truth will be known. Of course, if a person is known to be dishonest, it's difficult to trust that person, even when he may be saying something that's true. The attitude you should have is this: I cannot control what other people do or think. I am only in charge of my own behavior and that is all that matters. There's no sense in being overly-concerned with what others think of me or how they treat me.

Just ignore them and chalk it up for experience.
That happened to my daughter when she was in high school.
The bus driver would stop in a small nearby town to wait for some kids and let the kids off the bus to smoke, and even give them cigarettes.
My daughter told the principal and he asked some other kids (the ones that were smoking) and they said it didn't happen. So he didn't believe my daughter. I taught her to always stick up for what is right though I didn't tell her that what the majority says is what they will believe. She thought the kids were her friends, too, so they no longer were and she quit riding the bus. The bus driver eventually got fired because of some other stuff she did after that. So my daughter got her payoff in the long run.

Hold your head high, walk with a clear heart.
Feel for them after all they are the ones being fooled. The truth will be prevailed in the end. Lies catch up, or are always changing. The truth is the best policy.

The best attitude is to just not worry about it. If you know you are telling the truth, then it's everyone else's problem whether they believe you or not.

I would just say, "at least listen to what I have to say and meditate on it later or at least remember what I say." It really doesn't matter to me if they don't believe me as long as I believe in myself. Maybe they won't believe me now but with them taking note of what I said, they'll hopefully look into it later and try to consider. What's important is that they have understood my side of the argument .
