We are planning to put up a coffee shop, and we need information/suggestions as to what food items we can offer aside from only coffee.
Please let me know also if there are websites about this concern. Thanks

Coffee is a basic and is great with any baked good. Consider offering pastries, sandwiches, and bagels. If you look at most shops they only offer cakes and baked sweets but offering a balance with a few sandwiches for breakfast and lunch is always a good idea. Let your customers help you develop your menu and put out suggestion cards asking if they would like soups and vegetarian or vegan options. A successful shop always asks the client what they prefer and builds a good menu on the majority requests. Good Luck!

A variety of soups would be good to go with a cheese biscuit. I once worked at a coffee shop that offered this and it sold quite well.

I find that rich chocolate brownies work well with coffee. I also like something which has a slightly salty taste like cheese biscuits. Also try some cinnamon buns and chelsea buns.

I would say things like bagles with cream cheese, scones, doughnuts, fruit, muffins, etc. Maybe even some sandwiches or wraps would be nice too depending on how much you wanted to do.

Some might think its too sweet but personally i think donuts/cookie match with coffee.
