The busch race and truck race were both better than the cup race. I also think it was a shame for the broadcast to cut off David's first victory celebration. I know they had already run over on time but what was another 5 minutes.

I could not believe how sloppy that whole race was. Could you imagine how bad that would have been if the trucks were running? On a positive note, I was watching it with someone who really has never watched a race and is not really into racing in general, and he thought it was the coolest thing, seeing everybody wrecking and spinning out. Guess you need one or two of those a year to get some new blood into the fanbase...

Oh man!! I thought NASCAR had sanctioned a demo derby there for awhile!!!

Seriously.....at one point, there were more laps under caution, than were run under green flag conditions. I think it was at lap 166 or something like that...there were 80 under green, and 86 under yellow. I really like racing, and that was BARELY racing. It looked a whole lot like some of the circle track demos we ran in the early 80's, where you had to go around the track, but you had to hit someone every lap.

Think they ended up with 25 cautions..Never in my life seen such a mess, and these were stupid crashes..I was told there'd be lots of cautions, but this was a bit much.. It was nice seeing Reuti win..and Carl has to wait to clinch the title.. I think next yr the drivers meeting needs to be alittle longer. This race was way to long, I was beginning to think they were going to have to call it,as it sure was getting dark out there.. I think all the wrecking is over there now, they were happy to get out alive.. atleast no one was hurt...

Yeah...what a "wreckfest"! 25 cautions, and almost 50% of the laps run under caution!
