living with fast food is not as bad as living without food

You should eat several times per day. You should drink regularly all day long. So if the alternative is to starve - to go many hours without food or drink - then fast food is better. However... Your total calorie and fat intake for the day should not exceed the amount of energy you burn. Fast food tends to contain a lot of calories, and a lot from fat. Try choosing a smaller burger, or skip the fries. Choose a salad, or buy some fruit. Have a baked potato, rather than frying everything.
Nobody has to give up fast food. You just have to make sure you eat other food too, and work or exercise enough to balance up the calories.
Hope this helps

I would think skipping luch over a greasy burger is better for you. I think people eat more often then they need to anyway.
Like someone said though, if fast food is your only food source at the time, there are healthy options now, like salads.
And of course over a long period of time, (as you would die without any food) Even greasy food would be a better option, but not the best one.
Also I find that warm water supresses my midnight hunger craves, as that is the worst time to snack.

*Edit* The guy that said eat your food slowly cracked me up, a different type of fast food eh? Although he's right... not on the correct question. Anyway, I had a good laugh.

If your on a diet and you skip meals this will slow down your metabolism. Fast food chains can offer some nutritious foods such as a side salad and grilled chicken sandwiches. Don't skip the meal. Really it's better to eat something just choose wisely.

Well you have to eat that's the healthy thing to do, and yes you can go to fast food places because most of them offer healthier food options and if they don't have a healthy food menu they have salads. You also have to remember with salads is usually their portions are big so make your portions smaller and use the lo cal salad dressing and only used a small amount or you can dip your fork in it and then eat your salad but yes you can go to fast food places but with every type of food you have to eat it with MODERATION!!!!

Both could make you sick in the long run. Fastfood usually offers salty, fatty foods which could cause a heart problem, hypertension, high cholesterol etc.. Eating nothing would most possibly give you hyperacidity at first then ulcers which could lead to blood bloss if it starts to bleed and some into cancer. But i would still pick eating at fastfoods given these choices because at least I enjoyed something delicious before I die. :)

Usually the recommendation is to eat food SLOW. That gives your body more time to digest each bite, and will often make you feel "fuller" on less food. The chemical signal that tells your body you have eaten can take 20 minutes to reach your brain. If you shove down three plates of food in 5 minutes, you will not feel full. But if you eat one plate, slowly, so that it take 20 minutes, your brain will have recevied the "full" signal, and we will walk away from the one plate more satisfied.

Fast food is OK once in a while and any food is better than nothing....fast food places now have healthier choices than just fries and greasy burgers.

I'm gonna say that NOT eating at all is NOT healthy. Besides, if you maintain THAT diet long enough, you get eerily thin. Of course, you'll be living in a box 6 feet underground by that time....

I think it's worse to not eat at all... At least in all the grease and fat the may b a small amount of nutrients... Not eating means you are not being nourished at all...
