I constitally think of the bad things that could happen... today driving to work...(because I have to touch two wires together to get heat) I thought about what would happen if the glove I was wearing caught on fire! Then went further from fire to car accident. I almost always think of what I would do if something bad happened. Someone dies or I die or I get hurt someone I love gets hurt. I think of all of these mean, scary things that COULD happen; Am I just being parniod, or could I have an anxiety disorder? HELP!!

When we worry we think that we are in control of everything and nothing good will happen unless we're constantly on guard. To break the spell you need to see how so many good things happen beyond your control, and that id bad things happen, well, people just rise to the occasion to solve them. If the glove caught on fire you'd just put it out. You know you drive with care, so if there is an accident you would do whatever you would to rectify it, and there's always people around to help.

What ifs get in the way of full living. Learn to just give your attention to what's at hand and come back to your moment if worry thoughts pull you away. When you worry you are not living your only life, here and now, and that's where it's at. You can't worry and live at the same time. Practice makes better. And think of all those things in the past you worried about that never came true. Most of them I bet.

Sounds like you have a little anxiety going on there but I wouldn't say disorder. If you had a disorder I don't think you would be driving at all. Say a prayer before you start your car and try not to have distractions while driving. And please get someone to put some electrical tape on those wires so you don't have to touch them yourself.

Sweetie, it sounds like you have the beginning of an anxiety disorder. Stop fretting alone and seek medical help. It's normal to consider negative outcomes of our actions, that is what keeps us safe. If these considerations begin to cripple us in our daily routines though, you need to speak to someone who can help you. There are lots of options today and I'm sure your healthcare provider can help. Good Luck.

you need to read some books about creating positive things in your life and learning to be a positive thinker.....
If you feel that this is running and ruining your life you need to see a psychiatrist.

I think so, you should speak to your family doctor about this matter.
