I cant eat or drink or swallow without feeling discomfort it feels if though there is something blocking my passage....could this be a gallbladder problem?

Sounds like hiatal hernia. You need to see a gastro enterologist and get an endoscopy performed. Or the thing where they put the little camera down your throat. But I would definitely go see someone.

perhaps, might also be an ulcer, see a gastroenterologist.
