I would not recommend getting anyone's name tattooed on your body unless they are dead, or one of your children. There are very few people that think this is a good idea. I can't support the tattoo your boyfriend wants to get.

You shouldn't be too concerned about what other people have to say as far as get it or don't get it. You've made up your mind now weed through the negative comments and pick out the one you like best. I think you should google ideas, don't base it off others tattoo's but either way here's a link where you'll find thousands of different tattoos:

Honestly, I'm getting my significant others initials on me... mine are dc and the c also stands for my significant other so i wanna get the DC emblem and it'll be surrounded by a dragon, fierce looking.. it symbolizes that when it comes to my relationship i'll do watever it takes to protect it and guard it.. so i mean just go with what you like.. the two of you could brainstorm some ideas.. Good luck... let me know how the tat turns out and what you guys settle on.

Not best but maybe in the top 50. There are better ones. Have you seen the one of the guy with a tatto of a snake on his (private area)? That one is definitely top 10 if not the best.

You know i'm glad you two are happy with each other, but this is a horrible idea. Trust me, while you may think it's so "adorable" or "romantic" that he want's to do this, how do you absolutely know you two will be together forever? Never get your name or anothers name put on yours or his body. if you have to try to find something more creative to do.
I.E. my girlfriend and I each took parts of a quote and got them tattooed on us. The quote was "My end is my beginning and my beginning is my end" she took the first half and I took the second half.
Names are a big no-no as they are 99% of the time a pain and a horrible reminder should the two of you break up.

If this is what you two want to do, it is always best to consult with the artist on this. Depending on the names and their sizes and the location of the tattoo will depend on which font will look the best.
I am not going to try to talk you out of it other than to tell you that it is bad luck - seriously - bad luck. Long standing marriages have broken up after name tattoos. It's the mark of death of a relationship, but we still do plenty of them. I guess everyone wants to beat the odds. Very best wishes to you.

when you go to the tatoo guy, he has about 1000 different ones on the wall...and if you two make your own up, without going to websites, it will be more special
