I used to. About seven years ago, I asked the Lord to remove it. He did. The calmness just came over me.
Relax, don't be in a hurry....and be courteous on the road. Let other people in front - even when they are jerks. Smile.
Oh...and I also pray while I drive. Hard to "rage" with a prayer on your lips.

That used to be a big problem for me. It came from a lack of patience on my part. Though there are admittedly jerks on the road, it was mostly due to me not organizing my own schedule well so that I was always in a hurry. I learned to start giving myself an extra 10-15 minutes, and that removed my stress--making me a better person on the road as well.
I think one other thing that has helped is remembering the times on the road when I am "that guy" who did the stupid thing, and we all do something dumb eventually. It reminds you to have perspective, and be thankful when other people are understanding of you.
It has gotten better.

I'd imagine road rage to be a highly infectious disease which would require a high level of immunization. Christians are not immune, nor are Atheists, Muslims or Buddhist, Scientologists, or Hindus, or Maoists, or Astrologists, or Agnostics.
However the disease is not known to be fatal in most cases.
( Oct 31) By the way Sandra, when you say DO "YOU" CHRISTIANS vs saying do we Christians, are you excluding yourself from the fold? Or is it just semantics?

Oh yeah! I'm a Christian and I get road rage all the time. I guess it's something that shouldn't bother me, but everyone has something that gets under their skin. If I'm by myself, then I lay on the horn and swear at them (even though I know they can't hear me swearing). My favorite in the summer time is the angry fist pump out the window. If I'm going to get angry at something other drivers is a good thing to get mad at. That way no one other that God really knows I'm angry. And even though I probably shouldn't be doing what I'm doing, I find it's a good way to get stress out. It's better than taking out my real frustrations on my girlfriend, friends, parents or co-workers. I see it as a type of therapy.

The question should be " as a Christian do you suffer from road rage?" Very seldom for me. Are you Pagan, the way you asked the question suggests it.

All human beings (we are all a part of the human race) are susceptible to every human emotion. Anyone who claims they are "above feeling that" is probably lying to themself.
As a human being, when I know that I am experiencing a negative emotion, I usually calm myself down by remembering that rage (or whatever) is hurting ME - and not necessarily the person that has done the thing I am hurt by, or angry at.

No, I don't. Road rage shows lack of self control. My daughter was in a rollover accident because of road rage. They didn't even stop! It was a deliberate act of vengeance.

Not as bad as I used to. I realize that people only think of themselves in general, and that I make mistakes, too. Since I came out of a depression, my attitude hasn't been bad like before. That helps a lot!

Of course I do. I am a Christian but I am a human to. I try to take a deep breath and remind myself that this too will pass and it really isn't important.

Good question! Yes, sadly this is one of my worse problems. I don't flip people off or anything, but I do get very impatience with people who cut me off and stuff. I sure need God's help with this one!
Father K and Todd have good answers.
