My fiancée broke up with me in early June, after 3 ½ years of dating. Needless to say I was completely devastated and extremely depressed. She stated that she needed to find herself and needed to find her individuality. We tried to stay friends over the summer, but it just made it worse for her, and then one day she told me that she needed NO CONTACT WITH ME. It seemed like a harsh punishment considering I loved her , and until she broke up with me, she treated me like gold and was extremely loving/ In late September, I tried Match.com on a whim. And live in NYC ,so I dated a few girls and then met a gorgeous girl named Lindsay. In the last month we have been seeing each other a lot and everything seems to be going great, but I still miss my fiancée more than anything,we had so much in common and I really loved her. And what is worse is Lindsay lives across the street from my fiancee’s apartment building. I need help!!!!

Wow yea, you know the real reason she broke up? SHE WAS PURPOSELESS!!!! Just like the rest of these dumb-butts out here she got into a relationship before she really know WHY she was getting in a relationship.... what does that mean for you? PAIN, unless you understand ALOT how relationships work, but even if I explained it to you doesn't mean you'll understand, lets just say both your faults. Now the biggest thing to realize is that the whole idea about letting go, has to do with HOPE. See your pain is brought about because the fact is you hope, you hoped, and you'll be hoping for her, if not, no pain, real simple. Its a matter of love, how you get over that is when YOU find something stronger, better, and more powerful to hold on to. Unfortunately dating girls isn't exactly going to be a BIG INTENSE love affair. It takes time to have that, which is whats killing you on top of all that hoping. THE HISTORY! That stuff you just have to come to terms with, were your confront level with those old feelings and memories is going to dictate wheather you actually accomplished that or not. But its your life, its on you to figure this stuff out, but lets just say this is a consequence of not coming to terms with what happen. Between you and me brother you've got a hard one to have to find some meaning in, and move on from, good luck......
