Increase troop levels even more than they are right now and reign in the ridiculous ROE that the troops are operating under right now.

I would take the entire US government, GOP and Dems, and make them live in the Kurdish area with UN troops to protect them. That way if they do anything stupid, they'll be the first to pay the consequences.
I would divide the rest of the country into Shiite and Sunni regions. Iran would have to rebuild the Shiite region and Saudi Arabia would have to rebuild the Sunni region. As long as they rebuild the infrastucture and keep the peace, they get a percentage of the oil revenues. American troops will guard the borders, but most will come home in 6 months.
Any Iraqi who doesn't want to stay can immigrate to the US, as long as they serve in the military, work in the Peace Corps, or guard the Mexican border for 6 years.

I would round up all of those who are protesting this war, fly them to Ballad Air Base in Iraq, gather them in a group in the center of Baghdad and have them convince all sides in that country to come to the Kumbaya Table for a peace conference. Of course I would have video cameras installed at the conference site to record Al Queda entering the room and shooting people in the head.
I would then use the video footage in a new series on TV called "Lifestyles of the Naive and Clueless". I'm sure that Al Queda would buy it for syndication on Al Jazeera TV.

i think it is 2 late to ask this question,my people and your people are dying evey day and this cannot be stopped now but the real question is how to stop anew war your politians are insisting to go through?

Just make everyone of the soldiers come home and leave Iraq's problems completely up to them and when we pull out if we still have problems with their county or any of their affiliates, just drop an A-bomb on them and wipe it all out and it'll be all over.

I do stop war in my personal way by not joining or supporting the military. Instead I love my enemies and my neighbour. Not sacrificing to the nations. Keeping apart from the world.
