about how long before birth? she was at vets august 21 thru august 23 while we were moving thats the only time i can figure she got pregnant.

Just to clairfy things I have breed German Shepards and Shelties. Never had a dog this old have pups. She is healthy and she tries to mama anything including pups, kittens, and kids. Her milk is full and she started digging in the yard and making a bed since yesterday. Of course she has an igloo with her own pillow in it. I figure today is either 65th or 67th day. Vet says watch her today if she shows any signs of stress call him.

There are a lot of dogs that are 10 years old, that have the health of a 5 year old!! You have taken excellent care of your dog, and have her vet checked, I am sure she will do just fine, Just keep your vet on stand by in case of an emergency or let her have her pups at the vets. office! At 10 years of age?? And you figure she got pregnant at the vets?? How come she wasn't spayed at 10 years of age.. What signs is she showing? You had better get to the vets and find out, cause at 10, she could very well have trouble.. Would hate to lose your dog because she had a litter of puppies at 10.

At age 10 for a pregnancy she needs to have regular vet care every couple of weeks and closer at the end. It is possible that she has a pyometra rather than a pregnancy. You need to see a vet.

10 years old and pregnant? She should have been spayed but since she's not, a trip to the vet is in order to have the pups aborted. THere could be serious complications.

do you even Know how to take care of pupys because the owener sometimes has to take care of the pups more than the dog because some dogs son't know how to take care of there puppys when its there first time having them trust me my dog had puppys and she was really old and 2 out of 5 died because she couldn't feed them and she was to week

they can give brith between 60-64 days but if longer then 64 days call your vet

she could be having a phantom pregnancyi doubt she is pregnant at that age
