For the past few years when I've wanted ice, I've sent a team of fishermen to gather and bring back ice from Antarctica. Recently this is becoming very expensive and many of the men lose their lives on these dangerous expeditions... is there a more efficient way of getting ice?

I dunno because it's a fairly complicated process seeing as you have to obtain a liquid with the chemical makeup of hydrogen and 2 oxygen otherwise known as H2O and lower its temperature to the point that it freezes which is 32F or 0C degrees.

You should have tried going to the Arctic - it's nearer - Ok I know the Antarctican ice tastes better and there is nothing like the real thing but Arctic ice is not bad. Mind you you could just go to Iceland and pick up a bag of cubes there ( about 99p /kilo)

next time send them to the amazon basin. the ice is much smoother there with a certain kick to it. cheaper too. works out about £5.00 a kilo. it's at least £7.00 a kilo for antartic ice.
the depth of clarity is better too; clearer and sparklier.
happy icing to you.

Is this a trick question? You get it from the freezer or buy bagged ice at the store, kiddo.
