If you eat 50,000 green beans a day it will! Vegetables are the best diet food. This is an interesting question because I knew someone who went on a "green bean only diet". He was obese and lost 100 lbs by eating only green beans. All he ate day in and day out was a big plate of green beans at a time. He got to be really thin, almost too skinny, the transformation was funny. Go for it, feel free to eat green beans by the pound with confidence.

NO, it wont. One, it's a veggetable so you can expect much less calories in it than meat or pure carbs. It's just sort of starchy but overall, it's good to eat.
