The Bible is wrong.
In fact, people are just human. Being human includes being compassionate towards those you value and suspicious of those outside your group. It includes both the good and bad in what we do. Overall, though, we've managed to survive this long, so there must be something we're doing right.

Frozen chosen heart of law: legalistic: wrongfully convicts.
Dble minded "hearts" have double "thoughts" & "intents".
What's good only, is a heart that is established in grace.
Converted Paul The Apostle: "his witness unto all men":
Rom 1:11 to the end ye may be established
Heb 8:6 established upon better promises
Heb 13:9 good thing that the heart be established with grace
Converted Peter, converted by reading all Paul's epistles:
1Pet 5:10 the God of all grace make you ... e-stablish [you]
2Pet 1:12 be established in the present truth (not past lies)
The BIG Meltdown should take care of frozen chosen heart.
Nothing wavering speaks of Christ minded, not dble-minded.
Christ is the end of law: Rom10:4, not mend of it: Lk 5:36,37.
POINT: of "which things are an allegory":
Law: was "both good and evil", ends "evil".
Grace: is good "only", so it ends grace us.
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

No, you did not understand the Bible. It means that relying or trusting on emotion without using your brain/mind in deciding your destiny or your best choice is treacherous.
No sane person will reject the goodness of Heaven if mind/logic/reason are being used, but an insane will choose Hell emotionally.
So, use your mind in religion. That is the Bible's teaching. That is Christianity. USE YOUR BRAIN not your FEELING.

The Bible says no one knows the heart, because it's exceedingly wicked. Yes, the Bible can sometimes be quick and to the point, makes you feel like giving up. Or like one of the disciples said, "the things I want to do I do not and the things I don't want to do I do, woe is me."

Read the book of Proverbs. Read one chapter every day, and four chapters of another book, and really take to heart what you are reading. You will be amazed.

I read a lttle of it and the parts that weren't insulting were pretty dull. The part about she-bears eating children was pretty good.

Which part did you hate the most,
"Come now let us reason together, though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow"
or
" Father forgive them, they know not what they do"

I wish you would think. Don't have to often. Just once in a while. You'd be a better person for it.
