People says the very elect will be Jesus Christ. The bible warns that it is God who'll decide who the very elect will be, not the people.
Why has people decided the very elect will be God himself, when the bible says it will not be God himself? People says that Jesus Christ is God himself.
Who's correct about who the very elect will be, who people says or God says?

People are the very elect because Jesus Christ is God and He is the one who does the electing or choosing.

John 15:16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.

The 'elect' are the ones chosen through faith in christ and God. God didn't elect you through some Calvinistic process, it is just another way to say set apart from the rest.

You are the elect/chosen/etc. of God because of your belief.

I never believed that Calvinistic hooplah.

- Betcha I get a thumbs down because a lot of fundie types are Calvinistic (though some may not realize it.)

God and Jesus are correct.

You have misunderstood something there. Your question doesn't quite make sense.

God is not one of the elect, and neither is Jesus.

By the elect, the chosen, the Saints, the Born Again, the Anointed -- the Bible is referring to those that shall be heirs of God and joint heirs of Jesus Christ.
