He can't become 'more' Jewish, because he isn't Jewish in the first place.

He will just be a well-fed catholic :)

No, ***however*** there are some cautions:

1. If he has a gluten allergy he's in big trouble--unless the matzoh balls were made from spelt, rather than wheat, matzoh meal.

2. If he has an egg allergy he's in big trouble. Since the allergy is generally to ovalbumin, even egg substitute wouldn't help.

3. If the guy has a cholesterol problem, forget about it--there's enough schmaltz in them to clog a horse.

4. Constipation could be a problem if the matzoh balls are of the "heavy", rather than "light" variety. Some people say the difference is whether one uses Seven-Up in the batter. However this is not true. It is entirely dependent on how much matzoh meal is mixed in.

5. Gassiness--well, there are eggs as noted above although I myself have never noticed a correlation.

6. If he spills it on himself he could receive a second-degree burn unless the soup had been ladled out before the Seder began--in which case it would be cold by the time it's eaten.

7. If he says "I'd like two balls" when asked how much he wants, he may be subject to the usual jokes and good-natured ribbing. If he's shy this could be a problem. Any such gaffes can be averted by saying, "I'd like two matzoh balls please, the soup smells delicious!".

8. Choking is a hazard unless the matzoh balls are chewed well. I do not know if it makes a difference if they're of the "heavy" vs. "light" variety.

There are many more issues that I could raise but my fish cakes and latkes have arrived so I've gotta run.

Yes, more then 30 Matzo soups and its 50/50, then a little snap (circumcision) and a little cap and the change is done.

I have never seen a Matzo in real life, but I've always pictured them as a sort of lemur.

Q: What kind of meat would a Catholic eat on Friday?

A: Nun.

The Catholic would then go down the road to other kosher favorites such as pickled herring and beet borscht.

Conversely, if a Jew ate fish and drank wine on a Friday would he go down the road to Catholocism?
