I also had a difficult time getting the weight off after pregnancy. What worked for me was eating healthier and cutting down my portions. I also did 30 to 45 minutes of exercise 5 to 6 times a week. I varied my exercise so that I wouldn't get bored and I would stay motivated. Some days I would put the kids in the jogging stroller during their usual nap-time and take them for a long walk. Other days I would do exercise videos at home when the kids napped. I also did strength training exercises like push-ups, crunches, squats, lunges, etc. Those help you build muscle and look more toned.

Are you still breast feeding if so the weight will continue to drop. If not, then put the baby in the pram and take a nice walk. Do this every day. It will soon disappear. Also drink lots of water, in place of soft drinks or alcohol. Maybe get an exercise video or CD and when baby is asleep during the day, allocate yourself 20 Min's for a gentle work out.
In time it will go. :-)

I walked all over the place but I'll tell you with my first child, I couldn't lose the weight no matter what I did. It's once the second one came and chasing them all around I lost the weight. You need to cut out the food intake. Fastest way to lose weight is decrease your calories and exercise at least 30 mins a day.

Walk, walk, walk indeed! Time for the stroller and baby to help Mommy. Walk at least 30 minutes, an hour is better...you'll have to work up to it and adjust your schedule. Also eat more veggies and less white things: bread, potatoes, rice, pasta for example. Also, eliminate anything with sugar to just once a week and watch the portion size.

Breastfeeding is the BEST way to put off those baby lbs. If you aren't doing breastfeeding however I would suggest, walking, water exercise, and perhaps some form of Yoga/Pilates. It also may sound silly but a heavy hula hoop works wonders on tummy muscles.
Good luck!

Pelvic floor exercises.
The Recreation centre near us has a baby and toddler creche evry morning between 9 and 11 which lets Mums go to the Gym directly below them and exercise for however long, giving you enough time to swim and shower also.
If there are any problems they can just go downstairs and get you. Its quite cheap to.

There are work out tapes that are strictly just for this. They target the areas you need to work out most. A really fun one is called Bounce Back After Baby. Search for it on Half.com or Ebay.com It's a lot of fun and gets a lot accomplished!

i've got been given back to approximately ordinary yet that pouch is basically often the stretched muscle mass that's amazingly not straightforward to get them back the place they got here from. weight-reduction plan often isnt enought. alot of abdomen workouts and notably those that concentrate on the decrease abdomen, like laying on the floor with palms decrease than butt and lifting ur legs slowly. her metabolism could decelerate too, mine did, so she could not have the capability to consume a similar way she did until eventually now so with any luck that wont sneak up on her and *poof* an extra ten pounds on twist of destiny.

Breast feed if possible & walk as much as possible...
Also a very healthy diet...follow the food diagram on the food groups & servings you need in a given day. Limit sugar & greasy food.
