So do mine! I have a little spray bottle with water/lemon juice in it, when they go nuts they get sprayed. It stops the insanity really quick so they only wake me up once a night.
(it is a really tiny amount of lemon juice so it won't hurt them)

My cats do the freaking out/playing thing at 1am and 5am. Grrrrr!

yup they are evil wee things pounce on ur face when trying to sleep. try dig their way under the covers to chew feet. knock everything over in sight.
the question i ask is.... why dont we lock them out?? we are all too soft!

my cats do the same thing...escpecially when the weather gets cooler out...my dogs do it too...they are just playing...u should probably try to get used to it...they dont stop.
