"Hey, how are things going? Are you busy? I was wondering if you received my invite...? So are you coming?"

Sometimes they might have been so busy they may have forgotten, sometimes they might not have receive the invite. To be fair, I would call people to make sure!!!

I'd just call every single one of them and tell them you haven't heard from them if they are coming or not and you have to know for reservation and confirmation purposes with the place you're hosting it at. It is rude not to RSVP when it is on an invitation. We had a couple people that didn't RSVP last year with my son's party and as a result I was two swag bags short which annoyed me because I had no extra of anything that we bought for them to just "toss it together". I couldn't send anyone to just go get more either because it had been special ordered. It doesn't take much these days to send a quick email or make a fast call to say "we can make it " or "we can't do it".

No way! You sent invitations and you requested an RSVP. There is no need to do even more follow up with this. If they didn't RSVP and they show up anyway kindly explain that you weren't aware that they would be coming so there may not be enough of whatever you are providing for them to enjoy. Also, maybe you should just buy a bit extra in case this does happen. And hopefully this will make them more likely to RSVP the next time they are requested to do so.
Good luck!

Only if it's critical to be exact on the count as it would be when you are paying per head for a caterer. Otherwise, for a general party it's not all that important. One or two or so isn't going to change the amount of drinks or appetizers you will be serving. It's rude not to RSVP so you may want to rethink inviting those who did not again.

No. If they didn't RSVP, that means they're not going to your party. If they show up and expect to eat, drink or whatever, show them the door.

Some people don't RSVP. I would call and say IM just trying to put together the final guest count. Are you coming to the party? If they say no, say ok thanks, maybe next time.

No, that makes you look like a desperate school girl who doesn't have any friends and hasto beg other people to come to her parties... have some self dignity.

If it's very important to know exactly how many are coming, I would say yes, but if it isn't, then I wouldn't call because you might unintentionally guilt people into coming who have something else to do.

If they didn't RSVP and you haven't enough time to rearrange everything then no.
