You need to go to your local, independent agent for a plan in your area.

"inexpensive" is going to have a BIG deductible. And there WILL be some gaps, like maternity coverage, in a private policy.

With health insurance, you get what you pay for. If you're 25 and healthy, with a $5,000 deductible, this is probably going to cost you about $100 a month.

If it's too good to be true, you're being scammed.

Everyone is seeking "inexpensive" insurance that covers everything however; it is more important to explore cost-effective coverage.

Have an independent agent quote you out multiple options with various carriers. Sticker shopping policies will just create another problem later when you find yourself with a big hospital bill.

Find an independant agent. They can fit a plan to the type of coverage you need and can afford. They can explain the benefits and help with the application process.

Blue Cross/Blue Shield. If you live in Illinois, I can quote you on line. High deductible is the way to go.
