I posted the question "Does anyone know where QPR Ladies FC play their home games"
I got two answers:
1. "Yes". What kind of answer is "Yes"? Is that this persons level of humour? I can just imagine him rolling around in hysterics at his Hilarious answer..
2. "Put this question in google or Yahoo". Well of course i did this(like anyone would) but there is no answer there, that's why i put the question here....
Right i've finished now and i feel much better.

Lol @ answer 1. Sorry, but you're here in etiquette, so i'll tell you. The correct way to ask would have been 'Does anyone know... blah... and if so will you please tell me?' So, you know, he DID answer your question, even if it wasn't helpful.

2. A lot of people assume that everyone knows about google (or that it has all the answers), but i didn't know much about it a couple of years ago, so, he may have thought he was really helping.

And yes, people answer things with stupid answers because Y!A is addictive, and they just want to be heard. And get their two points, so that eventually, they can 'not answer' an unlimited number of questions a day! Bah hahahaha!

Well, no. Most people don’t answer for the points. There are people out there who try their best to understand, help, discuss, and find a solution to the problem. It doesn’t matter if their answer is the right one or the best one. The thing that counts is their sincere effort. Points are not given for giving an answer but their hopes in answering the question for the one really needing one.

If they don't know the answer, they think (a) that they are being funny when 'yes' is such a stupid answer and (b) it's an easy way to get points without trying. It really bugs me too but hey, what can ya do?

yeah i see what u mean, more than once i have asked where to find an image of something and everyone says 'try yahoo images' like i havn't already tried that!!

On the other hand last week i had something like six points to get to the next level so i answered 'i don't know' to three questions just to get them!

i have wondered that myself, it can only be to gain points.
In answer to your question if you haven't already found out, try http://www.qpr.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Home/0,,10373,00.html and click on one of the tabs. I clicked on squad and got the ladies team up and the where they are playing the home games, but haven't the time today to go through it all.
