Look in tight places.
My girlfriend found her son's behind the headboard of his bed and unfortunately, it was too late.
Look under beds, couches, even up draperies.
They like tight spots.

Try to look around corners. If you really cant, i suggest you open the cage door in the middle of the night. That's what i did to my pet's cage, and the next morning, he was there! :) Then we quickly locked the cage and he's been with us for a year now. I guess your hammie is a robo too, hamsters which are fast and small. They're the fastest hamsters ever.

They are rodents, so it would be a dark place where they feel safe and secure! Look under the bed chairs sofa etc. Set out a plate of the hamsters food somewhere near where their cage was and see if they come out to eat.

Get a bucket and place a ramp going up to it, then layer some food in the bottom and walk away, do not keep going back in but wait a few hours, eventually you will find a hamster looking sheepish in the bottom!
alternativly they will head straight for food so try the kitchen or where the hamster food is kept.

Behind things, sometims they like boxes and bags. Once mine got out and it was so long before it came t us! I guess it got hungry enough. Put some food in the cage and it will come back. They are smart, and will get out of that cage unless it is big enough and you have excercise equipment and water and food and toys for it so it don't get bored. However, it really should be let out once in awhile, being sure it don't get out of that bedroom or the room you are in. Good Luck, hope you find it and soon. Hope you don't have a cat or dog that will get it.

Well this was posted hours ago so I'm sure you've found him by now, but here's what I did. I turned off all the lights in the house except the room where I was and he came right to me. They play at night so they will be attracted to light. If it's daytime, I am not so sure. Try to lure with peanut butter????

In the closet, under a bed, around the sofa, in a tight location.
