She maybe spreading rumors because she still likes you and is hurt over the break up. This is childish, I know. First act like it doesn't bother you. If they get very out of hand. Confront her by herself and be polite and inform her you have heard rumors that you know are not true. Even though you and her are not seeing each other you hope that you and her could be on good terms with each other by not doing or saying any thing negative or harmful to each other. Some rumors can be so harmful, they can be "using for slander."

Ignore her and her rumors! Your true friends know who you are!
The more you give time to it, the longer it goes on! People probably already know she's liar.And those who don't will find out for themselves.
Just keep being yourself.It'll all work out!

Do not let them get to you. If she sees that her behavior is not affecting you at all, she won't have any reason to continue.
BTW, if she's spreading rumors, why don't you want to pi$$ her off?

if it was an amicable breakup, try speaking politely to her... although if she's spreading rumours, it probably wasn't! Seriously, those people who are worth knowing won't be listening to anyone else's opinion, they'll form one of their own. Those people who know you will know that they're not true... well, of course, unless they are!
