I suppose it is theoretically possible to kill a bear by punching it but the probabliity is extremely low. If you decide to give it a try with that mean uppercut of yours, please be sure to have an observer on the scene so thay can write and let us all know how it went. I'm pretty sure you will be a bear turd at the time and won't be able to answer yourself.

Have you ever seen a bear close up, or do you mean a new born bear cub? Have you seen what a Polar bear can do to a man, or a Grizzly? Even Black bears have mauled men AFTER being shot with large caliber rifles. So just go ahead and walk up to a healthy, full-grown bear in the wild and punch it out. Mean uppercut or not, my money is on the bear everytime.

In North Georgia last year, a Marine was home on leave and in the woods with his family on a picknick. A bear went after his kid. The Marine threw a log and hit the bear in the head. The bear was killed instantly. This is a true story. It is also true that the Marine got a ticket for "baiting" the bear.

A Bear huh?? A Black Bear can weigh up to 800 pounds. A Polar bear 1300 pounds... a human punching a bear would have not effect on him/her at all...... the bear would turn around thinking a mosquito bit him and then eat the human.... I would like to watch it would be funny.... :)

Only Chuck Norris can kill a bear by punching it. The bear actually dies of fright from seeing Chuck Norris throw a punch at it, but it always dies.

Yes, of course you can! Usually, though, I just grab it by the chest hairs with one hand and repeatedly punch it in the nose with the other. If you punch too hard, you'll kill him of course. My preference is to smack it around for a while and then train it. Once you've smacked him around, he'll be easy to train because he'll respect you (the nose punching reminds him of how his mother disciplined him as a cub). Bears are very easy to train once you've shown them some "tough love." I have to be very firm with all of my bear minions, especially the ones I keep as housepets.

I beg to differ from the person who says Chuck Norris could possible do it. The chances of downing a big bear with just your hands is almost impossible. All a bear has to do is to shred you with it's claws, and you will bleed out in no time.

no to big u will only p1ss off the bear and than theres only 2 thing u can do 1 have a 44 mag or bigger gun to shoot it or the 2 to bind over and kiss your a-$$ goodbye
