It doesn't really matter because the Bible can not be true, it contradicts reality.

You call it a gamble and maybe to some it is. But since you asked for me I have the faith that the Bible is real and Jesus is the son of God. You see you have to have faith in some thing and mine is in God and Jesus. So what is so wrong with living the good life as a Christian?
It give me less things to worry about in my life.

No the greatest gamble ever was writing a book with the intention of compelling people to believe in a non-existent being that will punish you for not living your life in the way they say by eternal damnation with the added bonus of having to pay your "leaders" 10% of your earnings on top of your normal taxes. And for a long time it Paid off.only in these latter times is it being seen for what it was -CONTROL.

Good news for you. I believe the Bible and I believe Jesus is who he says he is. I guess the means that I am a Christian. That is what this means.
PS. I will take the gamble that the Mohmand is a false profit, and so was Joe Smith. Ps, I know how to spell prophet.
There are many antichrist.

ah, good old pascal's wager huh? if we are to just follow the bible because we fear going to hell, that to me stinks of cheap piety. don't claim the moral high ground or profess your deep holiness if you do it out of fear or out of the "well you never know" BS mentality. if you follow a path, make sure it's to the benefit of ALL humankind and to follow it with all your heart.

That would be great! I mean, imagine that there' a being up there who loves you unconditionally no matter what you do, and is always ready to forgive you despite you being mean/evil/etc.
But I don't think it would change a thing for me. One should be a good person because one wants to be so, not because there's someone counting his missteps.
