i work at ups as a package handler and for the past month the joints in my wrists have been sore. it hurts to bend them in pretty much every direction but mostly to the outside. i know that they hurt from overusing them and carpal tunnel has been ruled out since that only affects your thumb and first thee fingers (not your pinky). the pain mostly comes from the outside of my wrists. it also hurts to apply pressure to them like when i do pushups or any kind of weight lifting. when i'm at work they hurt at first but after they get warmed up i dont feel much pain and i lift the packages in a way that doesnt hurt them as much. they dont really affect me from doing everyday tasks but i cant lift weights with them like this and thats definitely a problem for me. anybody have any ideas?

Ask your doctor about a sister condition to carpal tunnel syndrome. This sister condition is called cubital tunnel syndrome. I found out about it from doing research for my mom who had a problem with her wrists several years ago and she was told she had a nerve that was entrapped. Cubital Tunnel Syndrome affects the pinky finger.
