I never did read Tin Tin much as a child, and still don't but when I looked through some of the old Tin Tin comics a few years ago I was astonished at how racialy prejudiced they were. Funny yes, but absolutely prejudiced in that way which only people who regard their bigotry as totally normal can achieve.
Sorry for not being a Muslim and answering your question.
I guess it was only the people you expected it to insult that you were directing it at.
