laying in her bed, in her room with her fiance in the morning if they were both nude. If you already knew they had had sex before and were getting married, but she was still living at home until they were married. Also her fiance is a really nice guy that you like, and they had been together over 3 years?

I thought you would be talking about your teenage daughter or something, but considering she is engaged, don't worry about it, there are far worse things and if he is a great guy, don't blow it out of proportion, just be happy that your daughter has found an amazing guy.

=)

Well, most couples have already done it by the time they hit the altar.

I don't necessarily agree with it, but that's the way pop culture is nowadays. I wouldn't be surprised.

If I had daughter I'm pretty sure she would shock me before she gets engaged. She would probably be corrupted by TV at an early age, and want to experiment soon after. I don't expect to be able to protect my children from explicit material. Here's how it works: One parent lost their kid to explicit media, and they happened to work for the FCC, so they decided to go lax on the standards so that they wouldn't be the only parent suffering. That's why we have such low standards for society today. Talkshows practically promote promiscuity.

I would hope I didn't disturb them, and try to give them their privacy. If I did disturb them, I would appologize and make sure they both understand that I had no intention of imposing on their private time together.

Since she is still welcome to live in my home then obviously it is her home as much as anybody elses. What right would I have to infringe on her ability to lead a normal life and have the freedom to make her own choices in her own home?

I guess it would depend on what ground rules were in place, if it is acceptable for him to be there overnight in the same bed then I would just excuse myself. If the rule is to not disrespect your house by doing what they were doing I would excuse myself and then have a sit down discussion with both of them.

I would tell them that I would appreciate it if he and she did not use my home to have sex.

By the way, what were you doing walking into your daughter's room without knocking? That is disrespectful to her!!

Remind them of the rules of the house and tell them to get dressed.
