Basically only fish carries out external fertilization, where the female lays hundreds or thousands of eggs underwater and the male releases sperm over the eggs to fertilized them EXTERNALLY.

All other animals, including insects, reptiles, birds, and mammals mate (unlike fish). This way the sperm is carried into the females' bodies and INTERNAL fertilization occurs.

Therefore birds and thus rainbow lorikeets reproduce via internal fertilization. Geez, what kind of question is this, I'm sorry but did you listen to your biology teacher properly?

Lol, well either I badly misunderstood the question or Wacky did! Internal and external to what exactly? I had assumed that you meant "to the body" in which case it is internal fertilization, like all birds. As far as I know only some fish and amphibians practice external fertiliztion where the eggs are fertilized after leaving the female's body.

.Rainbow Lorries are no different from any other Parakeet in their breeding habit's their mating is the same external fertilisation The sperm is then carried into the female during mating. Is that simple enough For you to understand
