If its your family motto go for it. Its YOUR body after all.
We have tattooed several crests and mottos on people. After all arent we supposed to be proud of our families?
It sounds as if your proud of who you are, you can show it or cover it for personal reasons. If its something you really want dont let this knotheads on here talk you out of it. If your not sure how it will look get a sharpie and ink it on by the time it fades you will know if you want to get it or not..Yeah it works!!!

Yeah! Especially it contains the longest wrd, pneumonultramicroscopicsilicovolcanocoñosis, then that would be very stupid. It's stupid. Trust me, and what if you get excummunicated from the clan? What about you, with a stupid motto stuck in your skin?

Not if it's something you believe in. Its nothing wrong with being proud of your heritage. A clan name is much easier to explain than the name of your last boyfriend. :)

nope, people who pick out their tattoo, pick out things they like. sometimes they are simple like Tinkerbell or more deep like a clan motto. its their body and who are we to judge what they are wearing. not me.

I wouldn't say stupid. I think its a bad idea though. In 5 years you prolly won't be playing or have that motto. Even if you do you will forever have to explain it to people and thats a pita.

Once you tattoo anything on your flesh you are announcing to all who see it, who and what you are ... and ... are not.
I prefer to never let 'em see me coming and not give anyone a chance to "Hang a sign on me".

If your grandparents are still alive, take a good, hard look at their bodies...now picture yourself at that age...how would a tatoo look on you at 60, 70, 80 years old?

a clan can be temporaraly
(if its a clan the way i think it is)
a tatoo is permanent
they dont mix
you can only put tatoo's of your moms name on yourself

If it's just a design then no, cause you can pass it off as something else if you need to but if it's a word or letters then yes
