Hello, first of all welcome sister in Islam. The only thing you have to do is believe and say the following line (you can either say it at the nearest Mosque or if you are not able to then you can say it at home and GOD will be your witness) :

أشهد أن] لا إله إلاَّ الله و [أشهد أن ] محمد رسول الله]

Arabic text:

أشهد أن] لا إله إلاَّ الله و [أشهد أن ] محمد رسول الله]

Romanization:

[ʾašhadu ʾan] lā ilāha illā-llāh, wa [ʾašhadu ʾanna] muḥammadan rasūlu-llāh

English rendering:

"[I testify that] there is no god (ilah) but God (Allah), and [I testify that] Muhammad is the messenger of Allah."

Now if you decide to do it in a mosque (which btw will be great; they'll be more than happy to welcome you there) then here is a website that will help you find the nearest mosque :

If you do go to the mosque, the imam will probably give you a copy of the Translated Quran (if you do not already have one) and booklets to help you with the Translation.

If you are not able to go to the mosque now then all you have to do is say the Shahada (in the wikipedia link i gave you) and you're a Muslim : ) . And if this is the case then you can always go to the mosque to announce your Shahada infront of witnesses when you are able to.

Some Muslim women choose to wear it some don't, I personally do not wear it. But I advice you to take it slowly, first learn all the fundamental values, then when you learn enough about the issue of Hijab (head scarf) then you can decide whether you want to wear it or not. Prophet Muhammed said that Islam is huge, so he told everyone who converted to take it easy and slowly... step by step, and not rush into it, otherwise you will be over whelmed. BUT as a basic rule, we basically have to dress modestly (no miniskirts, no boobs half showing etc) so you can keep that as a basic start,, then decide if you want to wear the hijab or not later (When you have learned enough about islam to be able to make a good choice about it).

This depends on where you live try your local mosque first or try to find a convert, even if you can find the telephone number ring them and talk to them. Of course there are, I knew a deaf man who brought a lot of people into Islam.

Just think in your mind and express belief in One God the Creator, the Benefactor and Self-Sufficient without a partner. And think and express that you believe all prophets and last prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him). You are a full muslim. For details about prayers ask a muslim friend and perhaps some mulla if there is some.

God loves his all creations. God chosed human for his knowledge and wisdom hence we have to prove ourselves to be the worth of it!

The Bible says that no man can come to the Father except through the Son , Jesus Christ. So all of the pilgrimages to mecca will never save you, it is only through the blood of Jesus that one can be saved. If I were you I would do some studying before you make such a drastic mistake like becoming a Muslim. The Bible also says that they are born to the slave woman, and the Muslims are slaves, at least the Jewish people are born of a free woman and have freedom. Slaves are considered nothing more than property, WHy would you want to become nothing more than property, when you could be a Child of the living God???
