My friend, I am a christian, Baptist specificially, and I understand how you feel though my experience is probobly not as rough as yours. Dont be saddened by this, they dont know what they are talking about. The Jews are the chose people, Jesus warned all of us believers, all of the children of israel, that we would be hated and shunned because they hated him first, so dont let it bother you, jesus is the Lord and Saviour, all you need to worry about is YOUR faith, YOUR GOD, YOUR saviour, not the ignorant speeches you get from the uneducated and blasphemous. I hope this helps. Just stay true to the faith, God loving Christians/Jews are a dying breed in this day and age, just hold out a little longer until you are called home one day. Dont fret, I get the same hate.

As far as I'm concerned, the most annoying is about an "eye for an eye" as if the Jews were so stupid as to take an actual eye in payment for an eye!
Oh yes, and stoning. The NT mentions something about random stoning of sinners as if that were the norm of the day.
And then there's the one about Jesus being hounded by the pharisees for "healing" on the sabbath.
They learn all this crp from "their" book which has been plagiarized from our book with changes to "prove" their man-made god.
Emerald Eyes: Typical Christian answer -- blame the Jews! Yes, the Jews are responsible for the Crusades, the Inquisition, the Holocaust, etc. We all know its impossible that anyone living in a Christian culture would commit those atrocities.
I wonder how he expects Christians to learn what's in the Talmud when Christians have been forbidden from reading it for 2000 years! I wonder how he expects us to teach Judaism when Christians have been raised on that anti-Semitic book they call the "new" testament!

Theres nothing new in these accusations- some date back centuries and many of the anti-Semitic quotations posted on this website were originally in an article by Hoffman (German, not Jewish) in Der Sturmer as part of the Nazi campaign to vilify Jews.
Unfortunately, the internet gives the hate filled a platform from which they can anonymously spew forth their hatred, saying and acting in ways they would never do in the real world. So, there is nothing to do but keep ridiculing and disproving these lies when the anti-Semites post and repost them ad nauseum.

I know you asked for Jewish YA members but can I make the case for TRUE christians.
First off neither Jew nor gentile knew of his origins until he was already risen, besides a select few. So no one in his lifetime would have said that or the order of the day would have been to stone Mary. So that shows ignorance of the culture & time & presumption.
I have never heard or read that the Torah, Talmud or otherwise promoted nuclear war and I've done a lot of study in my lifetime (50+ yrs.) of the Jews both as a race & faith.
As for the third line it's nothing but blatant bigotry to deceive others into thinking that Jews think themselves superior.
I have Jewish friends both in the U.S. & Israel. Though we differ on some points we worship the same God. That's why it's called Judeo-Christianity. We discuss politics, science & even religion. We enjoy each other's company and even go out together. For the most part I find them generous, caring considerate. Often being kinder & more considerate than average to avoid unfair judgements on their heritage. Which is really sad because no one person should ever feel they have to represent their entire race or faith. I even hang an Israeli flag besides my U.S. flag because we are 2 countries that are democratic & united in fighting terrorism. Israel was in the forefront of the fight from it's rebirth. We didn't understand what it was really until 9/11. They have supported us more than any other country in terms of what needs to be done.
It's hard to ignore the lies. It hurts & makes you angry. I feel the same way when I hear slurs about christians. But you can't change closed minds. Bigotry, lies & cursing is no more than a feeble mind trying to express itself. You just have to rage at the ignorance & then ignore it. People won't be enlightened until they choose to be. Anger only gives them an excuse to close their minds further.

Because there are a lot of losers out their who get a kick out of upsetting other people. Writing, "The Jews are hypnotizing Christians into starting WWIII", is a quick and easy way of upsetting people. Ignore them.
It's not just Jews- they say the same things are Christians and Muslims, too. There's always one in every crowd.

For a start, there is being Jewish and being Jewish. Secular Jew? Strict orthodox Jew?
I would say some of the blame rests on you and other Jewish people if you don't explain to anyone exactly what your religion is and where you belong there: secular, orthodox (are there others?) You are sick of people assuming things about your religion based on their own skewed views. Well, what leads to these situations? Did you make a serious attempt to help people understand? You are also being presumptuous in your own assumption that people assume things because of skewed views. How do you know that?
I would also say that it's really hopeless and not to let it get you down. There are more than 4000 registered religions as well as agnostics, atheists, "don't cares" and who knows what else.
"All I keep hearing is about how:
"The Jews call Jesus a bastard"
"The Torah promotes nuclear war"
"Jews think Christians and non-Jews are subhuman"
Why does this happen? When you get an understanding of how this happens, you can avoid it, not mention that you are Jewish at all to others, ignore people who are anti-semetic (they aren't worth your time, obviously) and other things.
I think you should just forget it to be honest! This is just going to go around in circles forever without resolution, based on what we know from history.

By this time, it's either deliberate ignorance or blind hatred. Mix that in with a bit of self-loathing and presto, you've got your typical anti-Semite.
