when he/she proposed to you?

when he proposed...Uh oh.
When I woke up on the day of my wedding...1st. I am going to be sick. 2nd, I need a beer if I am going to go through with this. I love my husband and would do anything in the world for him, but I hated the rigmarole that went with the whole shebang.

When he proposed to me, my mind was a complete scramble. He did not even get all the way down on his knee before I was crying and hugging him. I totally forgot to look at the ring until he asked if I wanted to see it!

When I woke up on my wedding day, the first thought was, why am I up so early. I couldn't sleep because I was so excited. The second thought was pure bliss!

I already knew that my hubby was gonna propose, so I was just really excited and I thought, it's finally my turn. The morning of my wedding was completely crazy, there was so much snow, and my in-laws were stuck in a town about 2 hrs. away the night before and we hadn't heard from them since the night before, so my first thought was, are they going to make it, and if not, what do we do, get married or not. It was not fun. Once they finally showed up, I calmed down a bit, then my hubby was about 45 min late, which really scared me, cause I was sure that his mom had talked him out of it.

When my husband proposed I was surprised because we had broken up for a while and had only been back together 4 months.
The morning of our wedding I was a nervous wreck cause I was my own wedding planner. My 2 best friends arrived and took over for me early afternoon and I was able to calm down, breathe and enjoy my beautiful candlelight ceremony.

when he proposed - i was so worried because he looked sickly.. i'd never seen him nervous before! he was all shakey and pale and i thought he was going to collapse, he asked me to marry him and without a thought i said "of course i will, are you alright??". He instantly looked 100% and beaming with happiness.. that was when my knees went and i could feel myself going light headed.. at the time we were standing on a jetty over a gorgeous lake in the middle of winter.. it was beautiful....

when we woke up on the day of our wedding - my first thought was i woke up smiling :) and i thought "why am I smiling? OH! We're getting married today! in... FOUR HOURS! Yaaay!!" I was so excited i did a little scream into my pillow then ran to the bathroom :) i was sooo excited about getting married to the man of my dreams.. :)

thank you for that question - you've made me all giddy again! lol

MY first thought was "yeah right", I actually told him to quit fooling around and hurry up because we were running late to go somewhere. We'd been together so long I thought for sure it was a joke. He asked again and I actually said, "well if your serious then YES!". My wedding day I woke up so excited and eager. The morning couldn't go by fast enough.

he proposed to me in an airport after going home on leave. I was SPEECHLESS. On our wedding day, I thought, "he's not going to show up." HA! He still teases me about that 7 years later. Good luck.

Shocked, excited, unexpected...

Excited to see my soon-to-be husband but not excited to have to have the ceremony. I just wanted to be married without the ceremony and just have a fabulous dinner.
