You resort to using lies to defend your faith in god and in so doing you follow in the foot steps of many of the most powerful leaders of the early church.
There are actually some 200 gospels, epistles and other books concerning the life of Jesus Christ. Writing such material was a popular literary form, particularly in the 2nd century. The pious fantasies competed with Greek romantic fiction. Political considerations in the late 2nd century led to the selection of just four approved gospels and the rejection of others. After three centuries of wrangling 23 other books were accepted by the Church as divinely inspired. The rest were declared 'pious frauds'. In truth, the whole lot belongs to a genre of literary FICTION.
Would the partisans of Christ have set out deliberately to lie? Were they such barefaced charlatans that they concocted falsehoods and deceits merely to advance themselves and their designs? By their own admission, YES they were. They may well have been believers, in that they held to a certain faith. On this was built the fanaticism either to die, or to kill others, for that faith. But faith absolves the believer from any fidelity to objective truth.
Religious fantasy advances in small steps by which those who already ‘see a higher truth’ help the less gifted to achieve that sublime state by using various devices. In Jewish tradition, one such a device was ‘midrash’, the teasing out of new, contemporary meanings from antique, sacred texts. By such means, the scribes could resolve a current issue by interpreting what the scripture had ‘really meant’ all along. Was that a lie?
False accreditation was another much used method, common practice during antiquity. Most of the texts in both the Hebrew bible and the New Testament were forged in the names of their authors to give them ‘authority.’ This merely helped others recognise 'the higher truths' presented to them. Who could argue with Solomon, say, or Apostles of the Lord?
Once the Church had grabbed mastery of much of Europe and the middle-east, its forgery engine went into overdrive.
'The Church forgery mill did not limit itself to mere writings but for centuries cranked out thousands of phony "relics" of its "Lord," "Apostles" and "Saints" … There were at least 26 'authentic' burial shrouds scattered throughout the abbeys of Europe, of which the Shroud of Turin is just one … At one point, a number of churches claimed the one foreskin of Jesus, and there were enough splinters of the "True Cross" that Calvin said the amount of wood would make "a full load for a good ship." ' (Acharya S, The Christ Conspiracy)
Ignatius Loyola (1491-1556), the tireless zealot for papal authority – he was the founder of the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits) – even wrote:
"We should always be disposed to believe that which appears to us to be white is really black, if the hierarchy of the church so decides."
The Reformation may have swept away some abuses perpetrated by the priesthood but lying was not one of them. Martin Luther, in private correspondence, argued:
"What harm would it do, if a man told a good strong lie for the sake of the good and for the Christian church ... a lie out of necessity, a useful lie, a helpful lie, such lies would not be against God, he would accept them."
– Martin Luther

Unfortunately you are misinformed. There is no debate among the scientific community as to whether or not the theory of evolution is valid. There is too much evidence, gathered by too many independent people over too many years, for there to be some kind of hoax at play.
My guess is you'd be hard pressed to cite the actual situations you describe in your question. Who was the professor called by the ACLU? Do you have a link to anything that confirms his views changed, and became a Christian? I'm guessing the answer is no.
With all due respect, judging by the the way you've written your question, you don't seem to have a strong command of the english language or the kind of analytical tools required not to be duped by people like creationists. But please remember, there are no credible scientists who feel evolution is a myth. None.

Teaching evolution isnt lieing to our children. Evolution is the most logical hypothesis for the creation of any creature, not just man. Most people think of it as just monkey to man. Its so much more than that. Its superior species outliving inferior species. Its animals adapting to harsh environments by developeing something special such as spines on a porcupine, electricity in a eal, or shells on turtles. Its actually still relevent, especially when you look at Jellyfish and Octupi. They discover new and varied jellyfish all the time. Some are even believed to be new species. Octupi on the other hand have been getting smarter. They increase in intelligence every year, just as humans do. Well, generally.
On the subject of religion, that's probably a bigger crock of crap. First off, most people just believe whatever religion they're parents taught them. Thats why East Asia is full of Buddhists, The middle East is full of Muslims, and South America (minus Brazil) is dominated by Catholics. Second, there is zero scientific evidence proving or disproving the existence of God. However there is plenty disproving the worth of the books people take as the word of God. Lets take the bible for instance. If the bible is a telling of factual events, then why do the first two chapters of Genisis contradict themselves. Did God create the animals, then Adam, or did he create Adam, then the animals? There's also the FACT that the bible is what it is, because several men got together and decided what books would be in the bible. They left several books out of the bible, which give much greater insight on the life of jesus. They also gained alot of power through this setup. What about all the women not talked about or bold faced lied about in the bible? Who did Adam and Eve's children mate with? Eve? According to the bible she was the only woman. Same thing for Noah. Mary Magdalin was also given a bad rap, unjustly. She wasnt a whore. She was the daughter of a chiefton of one of the twelve tribes. She was practically Jewish nobility. Besides Jesus being 30 and unmarried would have been completly unheard of in that time.
Anyway Evolution is the most logical solution even if it cant be proven beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Why do you think evolution allows us "to do as we want"? Do you even understand evolution? Why can't you believe in God and evolution? We know the earth is much older than the bible teaches. Science has not discovered all of the facts and neither has religion. The bible is full of contradictions and in science, they are always searching for the 'absolute'. Have an open mind...and teach your children that is the only way to form an intelligent opinion. It does not have to be an 'either/or' conclusion!

So we can do whatever we like and not have anyone to answer to. Truth is 'relative' to some and 'everyone has a different truth'. Perhaps it's easier to believe in evolution and not have to worry about why we should/should not do something. Eases our conscience a little bit.
I also agree with you that it is wrong that Evolution is being taught as fact, when at best, it is a theory with flaws. Leading scientists can't even agree on some of the issues relating to this theory.
How can our children make an informed decision when they are not even told about the Creation Theory? Indoctrination is the tool of the evolutionists. We have to do everything to make sure our children get the other side of the story!
Good on you. Check out the link below. It is brilliant for bringing science and Creation together.

Not everyone agrees that it is a lie. For every scientist or expert that says that evolution is "a bust scientifically" there are dozens who disagree.
The idea of evolution is that it is willing to evolve to support new evidence. No one says that anything about evolution is set in stone. They gather the facts, and come up with a viable timeline. But, they are always willing to modify the theory based on new evidence. Thats why its called a theory. No one claims that the theory of evolution is complete. It is constantly changing to accept new evidence.
Unlike some other theories, which include the highly unlikely elements of a 600 year old man building a GIANT boat, and a talking snake in a tree tricking some human, and which can NEVER ever change.

I checked this "story" Its a absolute bust. And you need to find some other "evidence' other than bogus stories.
Honestly, if Evolution was such crock, it wouldn't still be consitered the #1 most plausible explanation for how we have diff species.
I have a story too..one that is true. When i was 7th grade, our teacher gave us a book by Gary Parker and had us read it. I checked every quote and source in that book ( he twisted everything), made a list, and gave the list to my teacher. The look on his face was worth a million dollars. Know why? he didnt think a 7th grader would catch the fact that the 2nd Law of Therodynamics had been twisted, or that the half-life of Uranium was wrong. I even sent the list to Mr.Parker, and recieved a vulgar, rude letter back.
My advice, do some REAL reasearch.
FYI- am a Christian, and think science is nothing more than learning how the world God created works.

I believe in God therefore I believe in the Bible. I don't care whether I came out of an evolution or I was created by God, all that matter is that I am alive, I was born. For some reason behind my knowledge , it's a mystery. What will happen if Dr. x came up with another story concerning creation and said that Darwin is wrong and he is right? Will people start following his belief? Well let's just leave life as it is because we know that the scientific proof of our creation will take a long way to come. Our generation will be done by that time. Anyway Thanks God, Thanks whoever create us. Life is too good even during the hard time

I don't have much faith in our high school teachers and students. I'd say less than 3% of them fully understand evolution. Why don't you tell us about all those times the scientists Steven J. Gould, Tim White, Dawkins, and Richard Lewin were made to cry by the creationist Phillip Johnson. What? Never? Phillip Johnson is a lawyer who has no business conjuring pseudscience? That's not right.

I agree, the biggest joke on earth is evolution. I don't know why we teach this when there is not a reputable scientist that will stand behind this garbage. I pulled my children out of the classes that taught the junk, and I bought some home school curriculum that was a much better teaching source.I refuse to have the school teaching my child something that is an out right lie. So I home schooled her. If more parents start to pull their children out of the school system or start to demand that they have an alternative choice then we can be sure that our children will have a good education. We have to join together and demand that this be removed or that an alternative choice be offered. This is discrimination to the Christians. And we all know that discrimination is illegal. The ACLU IS THE BIGGEST JOKE IN AMERICAN HISTORY AND PRESENT TIME. I have never seen an organization that was more against the American people in all of my life. They defend everyone but the American citizen and the Christians. Every one has rights but us. They suck. And my husband and I pray every day that the Lord shuts down that organization. As Christians we need to join together and fight back for our rights!! Start a petition. Did you know that Nancy Pelosi (a democrat and the Speaker of the House) fourth most important person in the United States behind that President, took it upon herself to remove the phrase "In God we Trust" from the United States Savings bonds. This woman went against 87 % of the American people and did what she wanted, and she did it behind everyones backs, and our rotten media did not report on it!!! They kept this a secret from us!! She is suppose to do what the people want her to do, but this woman does what she wants to do and does not give a damn about what the American people want! She needs to be removed from her position! The American people need to rise up and have her ousted!

The Bible speaks of Evolution in Romans? What?
Anyway I believe in evolution just like I was taught by fine Catholic institutions for 16 years. I see no real reason to assume that Genesis must be taken literally. Nor do I think there is any reason you can't believe in intelligent design, and see evolution as the method by which God created the world.
Evolution is part of a larger scientific body of knowledge based on inductive reasoning, tested, critiqued and evaluated along the way. The main problem with Creation "science" is that invariably they make no effort to create a cohesive explanation for how the world works that takes all the available empirical evidence, and gives us a verifiable model on how things work. All they do is pick apart the aspects of science they consider to be contradicting their faith.
