guy and it turns out we have the same friends. we clicked and held hands, he said he likes me a lot and thought i was pretty and asked me if i like him. at the end of the night, i was going to give him my phone nobut my ride had shown up so i had to go so i didn't get to say goodbye either since i couldn't find him. (he works there) will he try to ask our friends for my phone number or should i try to find out his?

If you want something to happen, make it happen.

I wouldn't worry about it. Men are a dime a dozen. Your role is not to try to find out his number. This shows desperation and a lack of class. It appears that grils today are very confused and in the dark about this, and they can't understand the difference of who does what.

Typical clueless answers here.

Move on!

Unless you both have have the same really good friend in common, it's kinda shady to ask for a girl's number second hand.

Get a couple friends to go back to this place since he works there (I assume it's a bar/club right?). If he's there, talk to him, if he's still interested, he'll ask you for your number.

i agree, what have you got to lose, try and get his number, or through a trusted, mutual, friend, let him know that you are interested. it depends on your level of insecurities. but really. other than that turn up again where he works and make eye contact, make it last for at least 3 seconds, do the flirting thing look, hold, and then dip your eyes. but do it at least twice, but no more. you have then sent your signal and it is up to him to respond if he is interested.

did you at least get his NAME and did he get yours? If so each of you could look up the other's number in the local phone book. Plus, you said he works there--if you don't hear from him in a day or two, go there and ask to see him. If you don't have his name, describe him to the guard at the door--they will know who he is.

That depends on how interested you are. You could tell one of your mutual friends to get in touch with him, tell him that she noticed you seemed to be having a good time with him, and offer him your number. If you want to get to know him better, you can't leave it to chance. If you don't want to seem too forward, this would work.

Email address is a better way to get to know someone. Google his name to see if he is dating anyone else or has a website or does stuff online. Ask your friends if he would be a good match for you ?

Guys make it sooooo easy for girls to approach them and they still won't do it, this is elementary YOU LIKE HIM, HE LIKES YOU
I know you're not scared of rejection. Or are you? You only live one time on this earth, you should try to grow old with as few regrets as possible.
