I really need to know for a research paper.

OK I am his girlfriend and want to know the real reason he is not answering it. I called him several times this week i just want to know if he is ok.

Nothing, not a darn thing.
Why? Well, any number of reasons:
1) Asleep
2) Didn't hear the phone ring
3) Saw call waiting, didn't want to talk with you
4) Phone broken
5) A nasty man has a gun to his head, will shoot if he answers
6) Didn't pay phone bill
7) You dialed the wrong number, His phone didn't ring
8) In church
9) Indisposed, (you figure it out............)
10) He's doing an experiment on people doing research papers.......
And this list could go on for a long time.
Given the parameters of your question, no definitive conclusion can be drawn

It could mean anything:
- He is cheating on you.
- He is watching TV.
- He is reading a book.
- He is taking a dump.
- He is masturbating.
- He is asleep.
- He is tired.
- He is not in the mood to talk.
- His phone is not working.
- His phone is in another room.
- You are calling him too much.
- He has been kidnapped.
- He is dead.
And many many more. There are so many reasons why he might not be answering the phone. It could mean almost anything. But if he is not answering his phone a lot it could mean you are bugging him.

There are tons of reasons
- he's lazy to talk
- he's hiding from you
- he doesn't like you anymore
- he's sleeping
- he's doing something else
- he's with his other girlfriends
- he's partying
- he's out somewhere
- he's playing games

He is busy! He is sleeping! He is at work and can't answer them! He is driving and doesn't want to risk driving and talking to you! OR he is plain ignoring the call.

depends on how many times you called him. once: any number of reasons... if he doesn't get back to you in a week and you call him more than once: he's not into you.

Because he wants u to THINK that he is busy so u dont think he is a loser and has no life...idk maybe thats the answer

He's busy so he'll call you back, if you call more then twice and he doesn't pick up or return you're phone call=move on and stop stalking his ****!
