I have a stepbrother that beat up her girlfriend last weekend, and my stepmother is asking me to call and appologize to her on behalf of the family. But I'm not sure its a good idea because I shouldn't be apologizing to her cause its their relationship. I don't know what went on and its kind of akward to aproach her. I'm ashamed of what my stepbrother did ? And I can't look at her and see her bruises that he caused. I told my step mother that we shouldn't be inbetween them we should lay off and let them take care of their differences but she insist that I call or see her.

I think your stepbrother is the one that should call, at least, he is the responsible. And dont get involved in their relationship, and dont support that kind of behavior too.

Are you friends with the gf? why should you call? Tell your stepmother your not the one who caused the bruises. she needs to get her son to call and apologize or she needs to take care of that since she is insisting
