Have you ever prayed for satan? That God might forgive him? Why would you or why wouldn't you? (I'm a Christian, by the way) Scripture is welcome!

To Hamoh10 - sorry if I didn't get your entire screen name correct. lol Thank you. This is a question I've wondered about for a long time (and I have prayed that God could forgive him) and I appreciate you showing me through scripture why this isn't possible. You'll be getting best answer (like points matter) and I hope I haven't offended anyone by my lack of knowledge in some areas, - It's why I'm here.

Firstly, the Bible says Christ came not to save angels (Satan being a fallen angel), but only the sons of Adam. (Hebrews 2:16)

Also, according to the Word of God Satan's fate is sealed, and he is therefore evidently beyond redemption. (Revelation 20:10)

Funny isn't it, Satan knew very well that God exists and is much more powerful that himself. Yet Satan decided to betray God? Doesn't make sense.

If i believe that god is the only one who judges us to heaven or hell then i believe that only god can judge Satan...he used to be the greatest of all angels so who am i to condemn him...all i need to do is love my god and my fellow man ...iv prayed for Satan why not...we don't know the whole story of the fall from grace

No.....there is no point, because Satan thinks he is right and that he is like God, though God could forgive him if he actually realized how wrong he is and repent......but Satan never would, because he is the Father of all lies, and deceives himself. He thinks he's right, and he would never repent.....so yeah...

No..I've never prayed for Satan. From what I learned, Satan used to be God's right hand man. Until he tried to "overthrow" God and try to become the Almighty God himself...That's unforgiveable.

The bible seems to be clear that Satan's fate has been determined. If in doubt check out the book of revelations.

it is an interesting thought. but dont forget that it is because of satan that we are cursed with sin, and we are all sinners.
i believe it is pointless...satan's reason for opposing the Lord is because he wants to rule over our souls as the Lord does, so do you think its possible for satan to give up being in power over the lost souls who will be in hell come judgement day.
