I have had a late night call to go away and solve yet another Family "crisis" and once again I get resentment from my Grandsons' Mother about it being "short notice" when I only just got the news and at the same time she says I could have 'phoned this morning not late last night when I have to travel early and that would have meant even shorter notice!
Anyhow just to say there is no need for anyone to post any messages about me pretending to be concerned about where I am because I have just told you - I am away looking after my Family so there's no need for those that I blocked to use another question to continue the assault on me like in the first link I gave in this question -

http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/?qid=20071028174633AACoL7J

But if you want to : clone and moan away - my *Family* are more important to me as the "Best Answer" that I have just chosen in the above linked question has pointed out.
Have fun.
Best wishes,
Joan.

Ok, so outsider popping in *intrigued* as to what the heck you lot were on about. Have read previous questions and well I know people like you Joan, so I feel the need to give a response here!

First of all, the barrage you are getting is becaues everyone knows someone like you and needs to get it off their chest, and you are a good opportunity.

Secondly, you are a manipulative, controlling peice of work. You cover your dark works with the excuse you were concerned. Of course you will play the victim, you haven't given it any real thought as to WHY so many people are against you. You just like getting your own way don't you? And having people back you up?? Well you won't get that here, we can all see through you.

I wish you all the luck in the world Joan as you appear to need it. Just try to realise that the world does not revolve around you and people have the human right to live their own lives.

Whats the family crisis?

Maybe the best thing for you joan, would be to start thinking of yourself a bit more, and let everyone else sort out their own problems!

Hi Joan,
Don't listen to what people have got to say on here (not the idiots anyway). It's likely they're just venting the stresses from their day onto you.
I can see you love your family, but mother in laws are hated by many so you'll be hearing from all the people who don't like theirs.
It's what you have to put up with on the internet

I have just gone back and read your questions and the answers. I am confused. Are there more than 1 Joan R. Something doesn't add up. I smell a rat?

My mother was a nosey, whining, miserable old battleaxe who just kept saying when are you bringing my grandson round, I have (crappy) presents for him, and all the rest.
Then she died last year. My son adored her but I was too lazy to go round there. Now I am not sure if my son will remember her-and I know who's fault that was.
Family is important, even the black sheep (there is 2 in mine!), so you have got to do what you've got to do-if she can't accept it, it's not you with the problem.

Yes just because grandma has retired families think she is there for everything. Mine are moaning because I am having a week away and they will have to sort themselves out - I might just go for a month!

Why do you keep posting questions????? We all know you hate your daughter in law........ I think if my mother in law was anything like you then I would find it hard to be nice to her!!
Give the woman a break for once and just be thankful that she lets you near her kids!

Joan
This is a corker.
You really are a nasty piece of work, you even have people thinking you are the put upon victim here, people even calling you *kind hearted*
How weird is that? you are the most stony hearted person on these boards.
You are hateful and cruel and not worth anyones sympathy whatsoever.

you know the running "joke" about mother in law's, well from reading your question (if there is one there), and the others in the links you "mistakenly" added, that "joke" is because of people like you.

leave your DIL alone to raise her family and just be there as a loving gran for the kids, if they come to you for guidance give it, your their Gran not their mum leave them be.
